Operation USA has always set aside substantial amounts to provide to our fellow Americans. In 2008, nearly 50% of our work was here at home.
100% privately-funded, Operation USA works without any government funding–thus remains independent of the constraints of U.S. government policy.
Operation USA works to provide Smart Aid–listening to communities– voices to determine the best way to assist them; promoting sustainability; and working in locations often overlooked by other aid agencies.

Even the smallest of donations can make an impact.

$1000 can send 8 children in Nicaragua to school for a year
$100 delivers donated medications worth many times that amount to community health clinics throughout the United States
$50 purchases a starter flock of 20 chickens and one rooster for a rural family in Cambodia
$25 provides a family in Africa with mosquito nets, which simply but effectively fight the spread of malaria
