Feed a child for $25
Your gift of $25 will feed 1 child 3 meals a day for 1 month (roughly 66-71 meals). Feel free to give multiple months! You will be giving the gift of nourishment and making it easier for families to send their children to school. Your donation will enhance children’s capacity to retain knowledge and increase their problem-solving skills.
Currently, Operation USA is partnering with Paiyagala Pre-School in Sri Lanka and a village school in Santa Rosa, Nicaragua. With your donation, Operation USA will be able to continue paying for these communities to purchase food, prepare meals and feed children for months to come.

Support economic development for $50
Give the gift of life – literally! Giving a loan to purchase and raise animals, such as cows, rabbits, sheep, chickens and roosters is the perfect gift for someone who cares deeply about providing opportunity and empowering a family to lift itself out of poverty. For only $50, your donation will enable Operation USA to give additional families throughout the world a small loan to implement lucrative animal husbandry projects.
Operation USA partners with four local organizations in Cambodia, Vietnam, Nicaragua and Indonesia to help provide loans, most often to women, ranging from $50 to $500. For example, in Nicaragua, $50 buys 25 chickens and 1 rooster, in Indonesia $50 pays for a food cart for a rural market stall, and in Cambodia $50 buys seeds for a nutritional garden to diversify crops. In addition to loans, our partner organizations conduct training and lend financial and technical assistance.

Give clean water for $75
Giving the gift of clean water is greater than just giving someone a bottle of water. With a gift of $75, Operation USA will provide more than 10,000 water purification tablets to a community that is suffering from a high child mortality rate, a community that has just been struck by a disaster or a hospital that has run out of pure water to give to patients or use in its own hygiene and sanitation programs.
Impure water is one of the leading causes of global infant mortality. If a mother uses contaminated water to wean her child or mix with baby formula, her child will likely become sick and possibly die. When disaster strikes, clean water is paramount to help prevent the spread of disease and care for the injured. Just a few easy-to-use water purification tablets can save lives.

Give children a safe place to play for $100
Building playgrounds is a step in the healing process and helps to establish normalcy for children who have lived through a disaster. Your donation will help give children a safe and happy environment where they can meet their friends and be children again. It may be some time before the horror of a disaster becomes a distant memory, but playgrounds can serve as a coping mechanism. They help children regain stability and foster hope that their village will again be a happy place to be.
A $100 donation will help a community build an eco-friendly playground. For example, Operation USA funded the construction of nine playgrounds in Indonesian villages affected by the 2005 Asian Tsunami. Most of the supplies used to build the playgrounds were found within the neighborhoods. The community members did the building and the children picked the vibrant colors.

Rehabilitate lives for $150
Providing a physically impaired woman, man or child with the ability to regain movement is a gift with benefits beyond words. There is no cap on human potential and the gift of a prosthetic limb offers people the ability to lead a more productive, self-sufficient life. With their new limbs, people are able to undertake daily chores that they would otherwise be unable to perform. They can return to work, become self-employed, or take on new employment responsibilities previously not thought possible because of their disability.
A gift of $150 provides an amputee with a custom-made prosthetic, helping one to regain self-esteem, which in turn allows them to carry out activities as a contributing citizen of society.

Save lives for $200
Your gift of $200 will help pay a portion of the average monthly salary for a qualified nurse working in a basic health clinic in a rural community in the developing world. Operation USA was founded on the principle that providing communities with access to adequate healthcare is one of the foundation stones for sustainable development. Entire communities benefit from a knowledgeable healthcare provider who gives comprehensive and compassionate care. In addition, not only will you be providing an invaluable service to a community in great need, but you will also be helping someone earn a decent living.

Keep the lights on in a community clinic for $500
For someone who understands the need to continue working, especially during challenging situations, your gift of $500 can help support Operation USA’s work mitigate the effects of an emergency by supplying the very basic power that a community clinic needs to operate. With Operation USA’s successful work in the health care field, such a donation supports our efforts to provide emergency generators in a disaster, enabling community clinics to continue to serve the public and provide a safe haven for neighbors who could be turned away from hospitals.
