Many lives were lost along Thailand’s coastal region as a result of the Tsunami. In collaboration with one of our Board members, Operation USA is supporting the construction of a new residential center for children orphaned by the Tsunami and women and their children living with HIV/AIDS.

Location : Tambon Taladyai, Phuket
Beneficiaries : More than 150 women and children
Activities : Art Workshop Center, where mothers learn new artistic technical skills and work and, an Outreach & Community Action Program, which includes assisted hospital visits, prevention programs, training seminars, awareness raising, activities for children and a telephone support service.
