Los Angeles NGO Deploying Aid to Texas in Support of Hurricane Harvey Recovery

WHAT:
Six trucks containing relief and recovery supplies are leaving Operation USA’s warehouse in the Port of Los Angeles for Austin, Texas, where they will be organized by the Central Texas Food Bank for distribution to communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The shipment contains:
• Shelter kits
• Personal hygiene items
• Sanitation cleanup kits
• Exam gloves
• First aid kits
• Blankets and pillows
• Air purifiers
• Portable generators
• Power kits
A team of five OpUSA staff members is also en route to the greater Houston area to begin performing damage assessments and needs evaluations on the ground.
