January 6, 2020–Our thoughts are with all those in Australia grappling with catastrophic wildfires currently impacting large swaths of the country.
Operation USA is monitoring the situation and assessing all potential opportunities to provide aid in the form of material supplies (e.g. masks and respiratory devices) and cash grants to community-based organizations. Our ability to provide such aid is dependent upon overcoming logistical challenges due to the scale of the fires, the extent of the damage and Australia’s location, which makes shipments costly.
