Cyclone Ditwah is currently impacting Sri Lanka, bringing heavy rainfall, flooding, and dangerous winds across multiple regions. Communities are facing displacement, infrastructure damage, and widespread disruptions as the storm continues its path.
Operation USA is closely monitoring the situation and assessing emerging needs. Our history in Sri Lanka goes back more than 20 years, beginning with our response to the 2003 tsunami, and we remain committed to supporting local partners as conditions evolve.

OpUSA restricts all program donations to our Rapid Relief Supplies and Grants. This ensures we and our partners are able to use your donation to best meet the ever-changing needs of impacted communities. With rare exceptions, we do not restrict funds to specific disasters. Rather, we honor our donors intent and direct their generous gifts to those communities with the current greatest needs.
