Kentucky Storm Recovery

August 1, 2022–Operation USA is saddened by recent devastating floods in Kentucky, which have killed 37, injured many and impacted thousands more. We are monitoring the ongoing situation as heavy rainfall continues, causing additional flooding and creating challenging conditions for rescue and recovery efforts. In the weeks ahead, we will assess all opportunities to provide emergency funding and material aid to impacted communities, and are now calling on our generous donors to help make this work possible.

OpUSA has already disbursed $10,000 in emergency relief funding to partners at Appalachia Service Project–through which we supported rebuilding efforts following last year’s devastating storms in the state–in support of immediate relief. We will provide additional funding to ASP and other community-based partners as much as funding allows. Please consider a gift today at give.opusa.org.

This is a developing situation. Please check back for further updates.
