Operation USA Partners with USC Keck Medicine and Reckitt, Maker of Lysol, to Help LA Families In Need

February 3, 2022—Operation USA is so pleased to announce a new initiative with USC’s Institute on Inequalities in Global Health (IIGH) and Reckitt, maker of Lysol, aimed at providing much-needed disinfecting wipes to community partners amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Reckitt is donating 4 million packs of wipes to OpUSA and other partners for distribution to the most overlooked and under-served population groups across the Greater Los Angeles area. We are so proud and grateful to receive the support of Reckitt and USC as we work to provide much-needed resources to our community-based partners aiding families grappling with effects of the ongoing pandemic and cold and flu season.

This generous donation by Reckitt will enable Operation USA to support worthy groups across LA serving youths and families and helping those in need gain access to the important health care, education, childcare, food security, housing and other vital services. During this time of continued uncertainty, as the pandemic continues to disproportionately impact our community’s most vulnerable groups, the disinfecting wipes will provide an important resource which many families and service providers may not otherwise have access to.
